Digital medical images are stored in the Imaging Communications Medicine (DICOM) standard where a 12-bit integer represents each pixel. However, commercial display devices only designed to work with an 8-bit such as JPEG or PNG. Traditional methods compress high dynamic range (HDR) low (LDR) visualize DICOM image. The compression process is linear transformation and LDR represented 8-bits format. Due quantization error contrast limited. Therefore, this article, we propose method enhance X-ray term of contrast.
